Well well well... both books AND one DS game arrived yesterday. *squee!* I've not begun any of the books yet. But I did flip through the cookbooks and found some delicious looking recipes to try.

I'm going shopping today. A completely unnecessary trip... but I'm hoping since it's a rainy Friday morning the crowds will be minimal. I'm in need of SHOES! In anticipation of actually being able to fit into the dress I have for my brother's wedding (which is still probably unlikely, the way I am... but I'm hoping!) I realized I only have one pair of heels and they are black stiletto-ish things that I don't wear often enough to be used to them to wear for an extended period of time and beyond that the dress is a pale cream color with little roses on it. Black won't match. Now, on a normal day I wouldn't really care. But weddings are different - I need to match. So I was browsing the net looking for some cute shoes, and of course everything was expensive. Who in the world has the funds to blow $300+ on SHOES? Heck even if I had that kind of money I'd never buy shoes with it. Or clothes for that matter. Not one tiny little item anyway. I might hit up Wal Mart and Gabe's to buy a whole new wardrobe with $300 but never just one thing! But I digress... I discovered an adorable pair of shoes at Payless for $10 on sale! But of course, when it comes to shoes I prefer not to buy online unless it's really necessary. So I'm heading out today to see if the Payless in BV has these shoes so I can try them on, and be sure the color will match (well enough - I'm not going for an exact match, that'd be insane and impossible!) the dress. Getting ready to move back in with my dad after having lived with my mother for a couple years after their divorce and surviving the utter heartbreak that is a young girl's first ended relationship. ha.

2 ) What are five things on your to-do list for today?

• Shoe shopping
  
• Read at least two chapters in one of my new books.
  
• Update my digital portfolio (or at least just get some new pictures ready to go so I can update it later on.)
  
• Work on my top secret project.
  
• Clean house a bit.

• Cheese nachos (why do they always taste better at hockey games than at home?)

• Pay off my bills, boyfriend's bills, and dad's bills
  
• Travel across the US & Canada, hitting every NHL arena (and loads of other ice rinks) along the way!
  
• Buy some land somewhere and have my dream house built,  stables and all and have lots of horses and other furry babies all over the place.   Greeeeen acres is the place for me!
  
• Invest wisely so I'll always have enough money to live comfortably without financial worries. (OK, lame answer... but it's a smart one.)
  
• Donate to charities/causes I support; like ASPCA, HSUS, and St. Jude's.
